Planning Underway For Grey Highlands S.S. 50th Reunion

Organizers are gearing up for the 50th Reunion of Grey Highlands Secondary School (GHSS) in 2018.

Ideas for the June 1, 2, and 3 celebration include entertainment and variety shows featuring past and present staff and students.

There will also be staff and student breakfasts, sports team reunions, and a dance.

There is an official reunion facebook page and website, which can be found here.

Organizers are looking for ideas, volunteers, and financial support.

“The reunion weekend will provide a great opportunity for the GHSS community, both past and present, to re-engage with each other and to discover the many changes that have taken place at Grey Highlands in the last 50 years," says current GHSS principal Andrea Tang.

GHSS, home of the Lions, is a Grade 9-12 secondary school located in Flesherton, and falls under the Bluewater District School Board.

GHSS was built in 1967 as part of a province-wide upgrade of educational facilities, and opened its doors to classes September 3, 1968.
