'Warm Winter Wishes' Campaign Gets Support From Wellington North Councillors

Wellington North will help out the Warm Winter Wishes Campaign by students at Wellington Heights Secondary School in Mount Forest.

It will donate several hundred dollars to cover the cost of ice at the arena for a fundraising hockey game.

Members of council, along with CEO Michael Givens, dug into their own pockets for $100 each for the fundraising campaign, which has a goal of $35,000.

The money goes to members of the community in need of warm clothing, food and other gifts.

Over its 14 years the campaign has raised more than $250,000.
