Bruce Grey Students Participate In The Hour Of Code

About 1,200 Bruce Grey Catholic students in Grades 1 to 10 joined The Hour of Code: the largest learning event in history.

This is computer Science Education Week, and Code.org is a non profit organization dedicated to introducing students to computer science.

The program is designed to demystify code, and show that anyone can learn the basics of computer science.

The demand for relevant computer science education knows no boundaries.

On Friday, student representatives were involved in three separate Hour of Code celebrations at St. Mary's High School in Owen Sound, Sacred Heart High School in Walkerton, and Immaculate Conception School in Formosa.

Over 100-million students worldwide have tried an Hour of Code.
