GOJHL Wrap-Up: Huber Scores 2 for the Cyclones

Listowel 7 Stratford 3

Jamie Huber scored twice for the Cyclones in his second game back in the GOJHL in Listowel's 7-3 victory over Stratford.

Huber began the season with the Prince George Spruce Kings of the BCHL, earning 27 points including 11 goals and 16 assists in 29 games played. Huber had an assist in his first game back when the Cyclones lost 2-1 to Cambridge.

Holdyn Lansink also scored a pair of goals and Chayse Herrfort picked up two points with two assists in yesterday's win.

Brock Baier made 32 saves for Listowel. Rock Boynton stopped 23 shots for the Warriors.

Elmira 5 Brantford 3

The Sugar Kings were 2-3 on the power play as they downed the Brantford 99ers 5-3.

Ethan Skinner's unassisted goal at 3:46 of the third period stood as the game winner. Zack Cameron added insurance with just over two minutes left in regulation.

Jonathan Reinhart stopped 31 shots for the Sugar Kings. Richard Little made 29 saves for the 99ers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
