OPP Seek Witnesses To Crash In South Bruce Peninsula

A vehicle hit a hydro pole in South Bruce Peninsula and caught fire.

The OPP say a motorist was northbound on Quarry Rd. about 4am Tuesday morning, when the vehicle collided with the pole on Grieg Settlement Rd.

The vehicle was destroyed, and the hydro pole was bent and damaged by fire.  No one was treated for injuries at the scene.

The road was closed at the intersection for repairs until about noon on Tuesday.

The Bruce Peninsula OPP is continuing with the investigation into this collision and requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
