United Way Perth Huron Fundraiser Hits Halfway Mark

The United Way of Perth-Huron has reached 50% of this year's fundraising goal.

The Scotiabank Care-A-Van of Hope tour this month helped bring the campaign halfway to the $1.33-million goal Scotiabank's Don McNabb lit two more bulbs on the thermometer to celebrate the event.

He says Scotiabank has been honoured to match funding raised through the Care-A-Van for the past four years to help make the community better for everyone.

The United Way Perth Huron supports 47 local community services.

"We're so honoured to be involved with this matching program for four years now," says McNabb. "We know there is need in our community and Scotiabank is happy to work with the United Way of Perth-Huron to help make our community better for everyone."
