Huron County Looking For Tourism Task Force Members

The Huron County Economic Development Board and the county's Economic Development Department are in the process of forming a tourism, arts and culture enabling task force.

Huron's Director of Economic Development Ron Gaudet says they're looking for a group of seven to 11 people, three of them members of the Economic Development Board, and the remainder industry representatives who can speak generally about the sector they represent and not just their particular part of it.

Gaudet adds the task force will be focussed on getting tasks done and looking ahead to the future of the tourism, arts and culture sectors.

He says they are looking for people who can represent their sector of the industry on a county-wide basis rather than just their particular operation.

Anyone interested in applying is asked to email a letter of interest to tourism@huroncounty.ca by December 31.
