Wellington North Starts Process For Arthur Treatment Plant Upgrade

Wellington North is going ahead with plans for upgrades to the Arthur Sewage Treatment Plant.

Four engineering firms have been selected to submit proposals for the upgrades.

There has been a building freeze in the Village of Arthur for several years because the treatment plant is at capacity.

The engineering work will cost an estimated $1-million.

The entire sewage treatment plant upgrade and associated infrastructure in Arthur could cost as much as $21-million.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
