Baier Signed To Windsor Spitfires

Brock Baier, the number one goalie in the GOJHL, agreed to a standard OHL player and education package with the Windsor Spitfires.

The 17-year-old was a tenth round pick, 182nd overall in the 2016 Ontario Hockey League Priority selection.

The Stratford native is 14-4-1-3 with the Listowel Cyclones and leads the GOJHL in both goals against average and save percentage.

Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel said of Baier in a release, "He has made great strides in the last year. Brock is big. He's a hard worker. He had a lot of NCAA options but chose to come to Windsor. We're happy he's going to be part of the organization."
