No Commitment From Huron East to Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Huron East is not ready to commit to electric vehicles or install chargers just yet.

Mayor Bernie MacLellan says staff did a study on the benefits and popularity of electric vehicles and the feeling of council was that electric vehicles are the way of the future.

He says manufacturers are producing a wider range of electric vehicles every year, but it's still too early for Huron East to get involved.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
