Driving Conditions Improving After Wet Snow Fall

Road conditions are slowly getting better throughout the region after a wet snow last night.

The snow was mixed with sleet and rain, and resulted in heavy packing snow on most local roads and highways, causing slippery and slushy conditions on the roads this morning, though local ploughs are out to help improve the driving conditions.

Most roads and highways are somewhat snow covered with track bare sections and slippery patches, but visibility in Midwestern Ontario is anywhere from fair to good. Drivers are reminded to drive to the road conditions.
