Thieves Hit St. Marys Business Christmas Morning

Police are looking for some early-risers Christmas morning who broke into the fenced compound of a St. Marys business.

The theft occurred at around 3:30am, when suspects forced open a fenced area at Caledon Tubing on James St. S.

A large quantity of scrap aluminum was loaded into a white cube style van.   The value of the theft is estimated between $2,500 and $3,000.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around in the area is asked to contact Perth County OPP.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
