Major Projects In Kincardine For 2017

Economic development in the Municipality of Kincardine has been a major highlight over the past year for Mayor Anne Eadie.

From the push to bring natural gas to the area, to Bruce Power and its planned major refurbishment -- all of it has been, and will continue to be, great for Kincardine.

Eadie points to a number of projects for 2017, such as the Connaught Park Pumping Station improvements, which she expects will help with residential growth.

She also highlights the Bruce Telecom conversion to a Municipal Services Corporation, noting they want Bruce Telecom to be able to operate at arm's length from council.

The Bruce Power refurbishment will also bring a major economic boost to the region.
