It happened on Saturday afternoon, New Year's Eve.  Owen Sound Police say a 64-year-old man was snowblowing outside his home on Third Ave West when the 31-year-old driver of a 2004 Honda hit the shoulder, overcorrected his steering and struck the snowblower with the rear end of the vehicle.  The snowblower in turn flipped and clipped the homeowner on the arm.

The injury was minor and did not require medical attention.  Police say the vehicle and the snowblower suffered minor damage.  There was a mix of rain and snow in the area at the time of the incident.
