Warriors Rally to beat Dutchmen

The Stratford Warriors rallied from a two goal deficit to double the Kitchener Dutchmen 6-3.

Curtis Abbott opened the scoring at 12:26 of the first period to put the Warriors up 1-0. Kitchener scored three times in less than 2 minutes to give the Dutchmen a 3-1 lead heading into the second.

Kameron Shearer and Curtis Abbot scored in the second for Stratford to tie the game. Trevor Dulong's goal at 1:30 of the third stood as the game winner. Anthony Kotsovos's powerplay goal midway through the final frame added insurance. Justin Graham scored on the Dutchmen's empty net at 17:45 to give Stratford its sixth goal of the night.

Rock Boynton made 27 saves for the Warriors. Jackson McIntosh stopped 23 shots for Kitchener.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
