OPP Close Fergus Death Investigation

Wellington County OPP have closed the investigation into the deaths of two people at a home near Fergus.

The two bodies were found at home on Side Rd. 18 near Beatty Line back on December 21, 2016. The deceased have been identified as Kimberley Nicklasson, 46, and Dwayne Nicklasson, 48.

Post-mortem examinations were conducted by the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Hamilton.

Police say they are not looking for any suspect and there is no threat to public safety.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
