Missing Wingham Trucker Found Deceased

A nephew of a Wingham truck driver reported missing late this week has posted on social media that 71-year old Doug Harkness was found at a truck stop deceased.

He was reported missing after not reporting in from Chicago late this week.

Harkness drove for S and C Clark Transport.

In the Facebook post, the family member thanks everyone who checked truck stops and that Harkness was a man who loved trucking.

There are no other details.

Concerns of Harkness' well being was posted and shared countless times on Facebook late this week. Harkness last had contact with his employer Wednesday night when he pulled into a truck stop in Chicago to catch some sleep.

He was due back in Ontario on Thursday with a load, but never arrived.
