House Fire In Morris-Turnberry Requires 3 Departments For Assistance

A house fire last night in Morris-Turnberry had 3 local departments responding.

Brussels Fire received the call around 10:50 last night, and they responded to the home alongside Blyth and Grey Fire Departments.

Huron East Chief Marty Bedard says upon arrival in heavy winter weather conditions, the house was fully engulfed. All occupants made it out safely after being alerted by a fire alarm. The house was deemed a total loss.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
