Sebringville Man Missing For Over A Week

The OPP are asking for the public's help in locating a 51-year-old man, reported missing from Sebringville.

Derek Ritz was last seen getting into a vehicle outside his residence on Avonton Rd. on January 1, shortly before 2:30am.

Ritz was wearing blue jeans, a dark colored shirt and a dark colored leather motorcycle jacket.  He may have been carrying an orange backpack.

He's described as about 5'11", 170 lbs, with brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. He has a tattoo on his right forearm of a woman with a snake.

He often visits Stratford, and walks or ride a bicycle when travelling between Sebringville and Stratford.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
