Inverhuron Group Says Council Needs To Move Forward On Pavilion Plan

The Inverhuron Community Pavilion Committee is hoping Kincardine council will include the project in the budget this year.

The group will present the project plan to council tonight in hopes council will approve the building design, tender the project, and include the cost in the 2017 budget.

The pavilion would provide washroom facilities, parking for beach visitors, and a place to host community events.

Council endorsed the concept back in 2011, with plans to locate the pavilion at the corner of Bruce County Rd. 15 and Albert St.

The project is estimated to cost about $325,000 including utilities.
