HP Healthcare Alliance Gets Top-Up Funding

The CEO of the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance says the alliance got a bigger boost than expected in top-up funding.

Andrew Williams says it works out to just under 1% of their regular funding from the province because it goes to hospitals in Clinton, Seaforth and St. Marys, but not to Stratford General.

This year, Stratford was included.

Williams says the money at least recognizes that hospitals are struggling with their funding and every little bit helps.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
