Aviation Support Helping Search For Missing Sebringville Man

Perth County OPP are continuing to search for a 51-year-old Perth South resident who went missing before dawn on New Year's Eve.

The OPP say officers have had help from OPP Aviation Services and the OPP Emergency Response Team as they investigate the disappearance of Derek Ritz.

Ritz was last seen near Avonton Rd. in Sebringville at about 3am on December 31.

He has shoulder length unkempt brown hair, and was wearing a leather motorcycle jacket. He has a tattoo on his right forearm of a woman with a snake. Ritz is 5'11", 170 lbs with brown eyes.

He is known to frequent Sebringville and Stratford, often travelling on foot.

Anyone who has any information that could help locate Ritz should call police.
