Blood Donors Needed In Palmerston And Listowel

Canadian Blood Services has issued an urgent appeal for donors, in an effort to replenish its blood supply.

Collecting blood during the winter can be challenging because the weather often keeps people indoors, and many donors are away for the season.

Residents of Palmerston and Listowel can help this week.

There's a donor clinic Thursday evening at the Palmerston Community Centre from 5pm to 8pm.

On Friday, the donor clinic will be set up at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Listowel from 2pm to 8pm.

Canadian Blood Services says it's target from Palmerston and Listowel is at least 370 donors.
