GOJHL Wrap-up: Lincolns Lose, Siskins Triumph

Chatham 7 St. Marys 2

St. Marys allowed six goals in the third period as the Lincolns lost 7-2 to Chatham.

Brendan D'Agostino led the Maroons offense with a goal and two assists. Bobby Harrison scored the game winner at 5:58 of the final frame.

Graham Dynes stopped 52 shots in the loss. Brendan Johnston made 32 saves for the win.

St. Marys was out shot 59-34.

Waterloo 5 Brantford 2

Karter Renouf struck twice and assisted on another as Waterloo topped Brantford 5-2.

Spencer Kersten also picked up three points with a goal and two assists and Noah Benjamin set up three goals for the Siskins.

Brantford was led by Jonathan Pace with a goal and an assist. Liam Devine earned the win with 22 saves. Evan Reinhart stopped 32 shots for the 99ers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
