Harry Potter Event A Huge Opportunity Says Goderich Mayor

The Mayor of Goderich says the Harry Potter and the Transfigured Town event planned for this October could be a huge opportunity for Goderich and Huron County.

But Kevin Morrison also points out, given the number of people expected for the event there are some risks as well. Last year's event was very popular but this year's promises to be much bigger, given that over nine-thousand tickets have already been sold. It's estimated the event will bring almost two million dollars into the community. Morrison says one of his biggest concerns is the number of people that show up without tickets, hoping to get some.

Morrison says it's still very early in the process but he adds a lot of very detailed planning will have to be done between now and October to make the event a success.
