GOJHL Wrap-up: Cambridge and Kitchener Pick up Wins

Cambridge 6 Waterloo 2

The Cambridge Winterhawks scored four times in the third to beat Waterloo 6-2.

Darcy Redwood led the Winterhawks with a pair of goals.

Max Wright made 34 saves for the win. Liam Devine turned aside 49 shots for Waterloo in the loss.

The Winterhawks out shot the Siskins 55-36.

Kitchener 6 Guelph 2

Kitchener led 3-0 after the first and went on to beat Guelph 6-2.

Connor Cole's goal at 15:47 of the opening frame stood as the game winner.

Brendan Valko led the Dutchmen's offense with a goal and an assist.

Riley Daniels made 21 saves in the win. Nick Redman stopped 40 shots for the Hurricanes.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
