GOJHL Wrap-Up: Cyclones and LIncolns Pick Up Wins

Waterloo 3 Stratford 1

Dylan Lebold's goal midway through the first was all the offense the Warriors could generate as Stratford lost 3-1 to Waterloo.

Sam Cherry, Drayton Duckett and Connor Bodnar scored for the Siskins.

Rock Boynton stopped 38 shots for Stratford. Andrew Albano made 40 saves to earn the win.

Listowel 6 Elmira 3

Listowel led 4-0 early in the second and held on to beat Elmira 6-3.

Tommy Hoogars and Brady Anderson led the Cyclones with a pair of goals and an assist each.

Blake Nichol set up three of the Cyclones goals.

Brock Baier earned the win with 27 saves.

Jonathan Reinhart suffered the loss for the Sugar Kings, stopping 31 of 37 shots.

St. Marys 3 St. Thomas 2

Alessio Luciani was in on all three of the Lincolns goals as St. Marys beat St. Thomas 3-2.

Luciani scored midway through the first and set up Tanner Hertel and Colin Capstick early in the third.

Tristan Lewis earned the win with a 37 save performance.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
