UPDATE: Power Outages Across Area

Hundreds of people are still waiting for their power to come back on Monday.

Hydro One is reporting scattered outages in a wide area.

The largest outage is south of Stratford.   An estimated 500 customers remain without power in the St. Marys area.  South Perth Centennial School closed Monday because it had no power.

Hydro One's website shows 200 customers without electricIty in the Drayton-Maryborough area; another 50 near Harriston, and about 50 outside Listowel.   Elma Public School was forced to close because it had no power.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
