Police Seek Driver In Owen Sound Hit-And-Run

Police are looking for a driver after a vehicle struck a pedestrian in Owen Sound.

The Owen Sound Police Service says on Monday between 3:30pm and 3:45pm, a pedestrian was struck by a mid-sized black or dark coloured vehicle while walking on 10th St. W near 7th Ave.

Police say the driver failed to remain at the scene and the pedestrian was treated for minor injuries.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
