Guns Stolen From Crediton Home

Police are investigating after three firearms and some electronics were stolen during a burglary in Huron County.

The OPP say the break, enter and theft took place between 9am-10am on February 16th at a home on Victoria Ave. in Crediton.

The residence was entered through a rear patio, and ransacked.

The stolen items include:

  • A brown, GSG-STG semi-automatic .22 calibre Model 44 rifle.
  • A 410 Classic single shot shotgun
  • A black, Remington semi-automatic .22 calibre Model 597 rifle.
  • A black Nikon Cool Pix camera with accessory bag.
  • A white, Sony VAIO laptop
  • A men's silver Fossil wrist watch
  • Vehicle documents and passports

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
