Future Uncertain For Marine Museum In Goderich

Goderich Council is going to have to decide if it has any interest in taking over the Marine Museum at the foot of West St.

Town CAO Larry McCabe says the town has been advised by Huron County that due to declining attendance and significant maintenance costs, the county no longer has any interest in the Marine Museum, and has offered it to the town.

McCabe says council will have to decide, likely at budget time, if they have any interest in the structure.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
