Goderich Negotiating New Agreement With Goderich Port Management Co.

The town of Goderich is currently involved in negotiating a new agreement with the Goderich Port Management Corporation.

Goderich C-A-O Larry McCabe explains the Corporation is a Federally incorporated, non-profit body and the current contract with the town is fifteen years old and it's time for a new agreement. McCabe adds the Port Corporation looks after management, operations and maintenance of the Harbour and the town is looking for a new agreement that would include projects the town and the Port is looking at over the next five years.

McCabe points out that given the age of the existing agreement and the changing needs of the Harbour it was felt it was time to discuss the future operations and capital projects of the Harbour

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
