UPDATE: Man Sought in Assault Case Identified

Ontario Provincial Police say a man allegedly involved in an assault case has been identified.

OPP in the Collingwood and the Blue Mountain detachment say that the person, who was being sought as a person of interest, has been identified and the case is under investigation.

The incident took place around 1am Saturday at Rusty's at Blue, a bar at Blue Mountain Resort.  A fight apparently broke out with another male being transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police had released a surveillance camera photo of a man who appeared to be involved.  OPP are thanking the public for their help in this matter.

Further details on the case have not been released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
