GOJHL Wrap-Up: Sugar Kings Win, Lincolns Settle for Tie

Ethan Skinner scored back-to-back goals in the third period including the game winner as Elmira defeated Stratford 3-2.

Jack Scanlan scored both of the Warriors goals. Anthony Azzano opened the scoring for Elmira 93 seconds into the game.

Tyler Mazzocato earned the win with 32 saves.

St. Marys 5 St. Thomas 5

Clayton Lewis scored the equalizer for St. Marys with just 28 seconds left and neither team would score in extra periods as the Lincolns tied the St. Thomas Stars 5-5.

The Stars scored three times in the second to take a 5-2 lead into the third when the Lincolns answered with three of their own to tie the game.

Bill Moskal set up four of the Lincolns goals. Tristain lewis stopped 45 shots throughout regulation and overtime. Cooper Seedott made 29 saves in 70 minutes of work.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
