A Port Elgin resident is $100,000 richer after winning Lotto 649.
Douglas Woito won the guaranteed $100,000 prize on February 15 when he decided to check his ticket while filling up for gas. Upon winning, Woito told his wife that the kid's education is paid for, and when she asked how, told her the great news.
Woito says he's also planning a trip to Italy.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pharma Plus in Port Elgin.
