UPDATE: Georgian Bluffs Man Killed In Crash South Of Wiarton

Bruce Peninsula OPP have released more information about a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred south of Wiarton Thursday night.

It happened shortly after 7pm on Hwy. 6, between Spring Creek Rd. and Shepard Lake Rd.

The OPP confirmed Friday morning that driver of a Hyundai, 63-year-old Paul Ferretti of Georgian Bluffs, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Two passengers in the vehicle were treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of a GMC Sierra pickup, a 26-year-old South Bruce Peninsula man, was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.  A passenger in the truck was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

That section of Hwy. 6 was closed for most of the night.  The OPP investigation is ongoing.
