Goderich Relay For Life Team Ready To Go

Organizers of the Goderich Relay For Life Cancer fundraiser are getting ready for this year's event at the Goderich high school.

Huron Cancer Society Fundraising Specialist Laura Pethick explains this year's relay is now a six-hour event rather than overnight. Teams can be any size, from a family team to a team of 20 or 30.

Teams entering theme events no longer have to bring anything other than themselves and a good pair of walking shoes. Sponsors will provide the rest.

Pethick says registration is now open for teams at relayforlife.ca.

Their first rally is Tuesday night, at the Goderich high school.

The Goderich Relay For Life is scheduled for Friday June 16 at the GDCI track.
