Residents out for a walk found the unconscious woman on Kitchener St. in Fergus around 8:10pm Monday night. She was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The woman been identified as 33-year-old Ashley Wilson of Fergus.
An autopsy will be completed Tuesday. The OPP say at this point, her death is not considered suspicious.
Lambton OPP will have an increased presence in Grand Bend as they continue to search for a swimmer that was reported missing on Friday.
