Minto Plans Industrial Park Expansions

Minto is moving forward on developing about 55 acres of industrial land in Harriston.

It's located adjacent to the town’s existing industrial park.

The multi-million dollar project would be completed over the next five years, or longer. Federal and provincial grants are expected to pay about 75% of the cost.

Meanwhile, two industries are buying property in the Palmerston Industrial Park.

One new industry is a 5,000 sq ft shrimp hatchery which is one of the first of its kind in Canada. And an existing industry is planning a major expansion.
