UPDATE: Power Mostly Restored After Wild Weather Causes Outages

Less than 20 Hydro One customers remain without power in the Lucknow area, following widespread power outages throughout the region.

Ice, wet snow and a strong wind Thursday night caused outages affecting more than 58,000 customers. Power was mostly restored to all customers just before 7pm on Friday.

Westario Power have also restored power to all customers in Port Elgin.

In West Perth, Line 39 between Road 150 and Road 155 was closed to allow crews to conduct repairs to downed hydro lines. The road has since been reopened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
