Hanover Residents Hope To Bring CT Scanner To Their Hospital

Organizers of a rally in Hanover Tuesday hope to drive home the idea that Hanover is an ideal location for a CT scanner.

In the last five years, Hanover hospital has seen close to a 25% rise in weighted cases, which is a financial indicator that provides a measure of the cost to provide healthcare to a patient.

The South Bruce Grey Health Services did not endorse the application, so local resident David Hocking hopes a rally will convince the Local Health Integration Network to still allow a CT Scanner in Hanover.

Hanover District Hospital has the busiest emergency room in the area.
