'Mr. Hockey' Still Missing From Exeter Arena

A South Huron man has been arrested as part of an investigation into a break-in last month at the South Huron Recreation Centre.

On March 4, two suspects entered the arena lobby shortly before 11pm and stole a Gordie Howe "Mr. Hockey" framed print that was being auctioned off for Special Olympics.

The thieves returned early the next morning and forced entry into the concession booth, but were scared off when they tripped a motion sensor alarm.

Investigators were able to identify one of the men and a warrant was sought for his arrest.

Michael Pelly, 35, was arrested on Main St. of Lucan Sunday afternoon. He's charged with two counts of break and enter to commit an indictable offence, two counts of using a disguise with intent, and failing to comply with a probation order.

Investigators are still searching for the second man.

The stolen hockey print has not been recovered.
