UPDATE: OPP Release Name of Woman Found Dead Near Blyth

The OPP are still investigating a death on a farm in North Huron.

Officers were called Friday afternoon to a farm property located off London Road, northwest of Blyth. The body of an adult female was found in a farm field.

The woman has been identified as 31-year-old Caitlin Atkin of North Huron.

Police are still trying to piece together what might have happened, but the scene has been released and a post-mortem on the body has been completed.     Foul play is not suspected.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
