OSDSS Students Get Tuesday Morning Surprise

Returning to school after the long Easter weekend wasn't quite as gloomy for some students in Owen Sound.

Hallway lockers at Owen Sound District Secondary School had feel good messages posted on them Tuesday morning.

A total of over 1,300 positive messages were on stuck on the lockers.

There's no indication whether it was one student, or a group of students that were responsible for the uplifting effort.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
