Missing Toddler In Wingham Found Safe

A missing 4-year-old boy in Wingham has been found safe.

Wingham police received a report around 7:15am Wednesday morning that the child was missing from his home in the Carling Terrace area.

The parents had stepped outside the house to move a vehicle and when they went back inside, the boy was gone.

An immediate search started, and a local resident found the boy walking along Amberley Rd. in Morris Turnberry.

The child has been reunited with his parents and is unhurt.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
