Clinton Raceway 2017 Season Preview

In just over a month Clinton Raceway opens it's 2017 season with a newly revamped Super Sunday Show. The first drive of the season will be in support of Central Huron Secondary School and will feature a trackside fundraiser. The grande prize will see someone win a share of a race horse.  Opening day collector t-shirts will be available for $2.

One of the highlights of the 15 week season is John Campbell's retiring drive during Legends Day on Sunday July 30th. Canada 150 celebrations take over the track on Sunday, July 9th including The Kin Pace.

The season closes with hte 37th Annual Charity Driver's Challenge on Labour Day weekend, Sunday. September 3rd. Post times are all 1:30 p.m.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
