Matt Hoy Leaves Lake Huron Centre

The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation is looking for a new executive director.

Matt Hoy announced this week that he is leaving to take a position with the Maitland Valley Family Health Team.  Hoy was hired by the Coastal Centre last July.

Coastal Centre Chair Jim Roberts has organized a group of board directors to start advertising on May 2.

He points out that administration and fundraising are key parts of the job for a group that tries to cover critical issues along the Lake Huron shoreline from Sarnia to Tobermory.

The vice chair of the board Deb Shewfelt says it's very important they get the right candidate for the job.
