Grey County Motorist Narrowly Avoids Head-on Collision

Grey County OPP say a vehicle went out of control on Grey Road 14, nearly hitting an on-coming car, before coming to rest in the ditch.

It happened Friday afternoon around 3:40 p.m. near Durham Road in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Police say a 2013 Dodge Dart was southbound on Grey Road 14 when the driver lost control and nearly hit another vehicle. The other driver stopped to help the driver of the Dart who was not hurt.

A 21-year-old Southgate man is charged with Impaire Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He is due in court May 11th.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
