Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Conservative EDA To Host Leadership Candidates

The Royal Canadian Legion branch in Hepworth will be in the national political spotlight next month.

The Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Conservative Electoral District Association will host a Leadership Showcase event on Saturday, May 6.

It will include most of the candidates running to become the next leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.

The formal "showcase" is scheduled to run from 2pm to 4pm that afternoon.  Candidates will be available after that for a question-and-answer session from the public and news media.

The Hepworth-Shallow Lake Royal Canadian Legion is located on Legion Rd. in Hepworth.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
