Surgery Plan On Hold In Grey And Bruce

Grey Bruce Health Services is delaying a vote on proposed changes to elective day surgery.

In a tweet from GBHS on Monday, the organization says it is taking extra time to consider feedback on the proposed changes to elective day surgery program.

A report will go to the GBHS Board in May.

One proposal was to consolidate elective day surgeries to Owen Sound, ending the service in Markdale, Meaford, and Southampton.
